The Loop

Solitude is a grounded street-dealing prototype where your phone is your main tool. Every contact matters, and each meetup pushes your run forward.

Move through the city, open your phone, and message a dealer or buyer. Summon them into the world, set up the meetup, and trade product through a live inventory system. Watch your cash grow as you flip deals and manage your carry.

This isn't an empire simulator yet. It's a tense, repeatable street-level loop: text the right people, make the trade, and keep the money moving.

Who's Building This

Solitude is a two-person project built in Unity. No studio, no publisher โ€” just two developers iterating on a street-level crime economy prototype and sharing the process openly.

The game started as a simple question: what if your phone was the main tool in a crime game? Not a menu, not a map โ€” a real phone you use to text contacts, summon people into the world, and close deals face-to-face.

Everything you see is part of a vertical slice. The core loop works. The phone system works. The inventory and cash tracking work. Now it's about expanding the city, adding more contacts, and deepening the economy.

FAQ

Solitude is currently a playable vertical slice. The core loop โ€” texting contacts, summoning NPCs, trading product, and tracking cash โ€” is fully functional. Join the waitlist to get access to early builds as they're released.

Solitude is built in Unity. The prototype uses Easy Inventory for the item system and a custom phone/contact framework for the NPC interaction flow.

Right now it's a focused vertical slice. The street-level dealing loop is complete and playable. Bigger systems like police heat, territory control, and employee management are on the roadmap but not yet implemented.

Pricing hasn't been finalized yet. The current prototype is being developed openly, and early supporters on the waitlist will get first access to builds and potential discounts when a paid version launches.

Currently targeting Windows PC. Other platforms may be considered as the project grows beyond the prototype stage.
